The Corporation (2003)

Directed by Mark Achbar and Jennifer Abott

This documentary film examines the possibility of corporations being viewed as individual people as opposed to large companies. The film examines the ideas and reflections of various high profile social commentators such as Naomi Klein and Noam Chomsky as well as several company CEO’s and think tanks. The documentary is structured similarly to that of a corporate video, with seemingly expensive graphics and charmingly spoken narrations and it works very well as an eye-opening documentary. However the film is far too drawn out and although I did thoroughly enjoy the content of the feature, I suggest watching the film in two sittings in a better attempt to digest the indeed fascinating information this educational documentary provides.
