I am currently editing a documentary film series entitled 'The Learning English Video Project'. I wrote, produced and directed each of the 7 films, which were filmed in Cambridge, New York, Madrid, Casablanca, Bucharest, Shanghai and Sao Paulo. The films analyse students' methodological approaches and grounds for learning English, which are often determined by their geographical and social situation. The films not only work as a basis for interesting research, but they are also available for free and work as a learning resource for students.
The project is sponsored by EnglishClub.com
In October 2009 I started a two year MA at The University of Wroclaw, Poland. I am studying International Relations and Mandarin Chinese.
During the summer period of 2009, I worked as Centre Manager for the creative arts campus at Millfield Summer School. I was responsible for every member of staff and the well-being of students aged 12 - 17 from all over the world.
In May 2009 I completed the production of a video series for The British Council and Lifelong Learning. The films were shot at 5 major universities around the UK and were produced in order to encourage students to take part in the Erasmus Programme. Studying abroad is an important part of obtaining a degree and the videos, known collectively as 'Erasmus Insights', are my attempt at promoting that. I wrote, directed and produced the series, which was sponsored by The British Council.
My first novel was released in October 2008 through Skrzat Publications. The book took almost two years to write and is a collection stories based on my experiences in Poland. 'Ktoredy' was published and made available for the Krakow Targi Ksziazki 2008. It is now available in bookshops all over the country.
