Jeffrey Sachs
I first heard of Jeffrey Sachs when listening to the BBC Reith Lecture World Series and I was blown away by what this man had to say. His ideas and his beliefs are indeed idealist and, at first, seemingly unrealistic, but the way that he conducts his lectures and his understanding as to how people all over the Earth can make a difference and prolong the cooperative existence of mankind is quite simply flawless. Jeffrey Sachs is heavily influenced by John F Kennedy’s principles on peace and human equality and Sachs’ dramatic, enthusiastic and accurate portrayal of what human beings need to do to live as a united species is nothing short of awe inspiring. Jeffrey Sachs is currently the director of The Earth Institute at Columbia University.
