A series of documentary films that explores ESL (English as a Second Language) from the perspective of learners across the globe. The project is spread across five continents and features students, teachers and academics from various fields discussing their ESL experiences and techniques.
The films look at bridging links between specific methodology, purpose and environment by combining interviews with location sequences. The project features films from Morocco, Romania, Spain, USA, and England. Each documentary is approximately fifteen minutes in duration and can be used as a basis for research as well as an ESL learning tool.
In April 2009, EnglishClub.com announced that it would sponsor two more documentaries as part of the project. I have since shot two more films for the series in Shanghai, China and Sao Paulo, Brazil - release dates to be confirmed.
