TEFL DOCUMENTARY SET FOR MARCH RELEASE – TRAILER ONLINE
Independent filmmaker Daniel Emmerson has just released a one-minute trailer for his TEFL.net sponsored documentary film on the TEFL industry.
The trailer details short snippets from the sixty-minute production and features a track by UK based blackened folk band, The Moulettes.
The trailer is available for free viewing at: http://www.danielemmerson.com/TEFLDocumentary.htm
Using Poland, Thailand and Slovakia as case studies, the documentary film explores everything from in depth teaching methodology to advice for first time teachers, in a social and informal probing of today’s TEFL industry.
“The film answers a lot of questions about TEFL teaching, and although I focussed specifically on three countries, the forty hours of footage I shot for the project is being trimmed to portray TEFL as worldwide, expanding and increasingly popular among native and non native speakers of English.” - Daniel Emmerson
The DVD will feature the full documentary with chapter selection, digitally enhanced trailer and an interview feature with Josef Essberger, founder of TEFL.net. The package will be available to buy through Emmerson’s website and TEFL.net in March 2008.
Emmerson is currently working on film post-production and plans to give a limited series of seminars in Europe at the time of the DVD release.
